Prompt engineering is shifting from human-authored instructions to agent-driven execution. Recursive language models treat prompts as inspectable objects, enabling dynamic workflows where structure emerges at runtime. In multi-agent systems, agents generate briefs, delegate tasks, spawn peers and craft subsequent prompts. This talk introduces recursive prompt engineering linking recursive models, dynamic workloads and automatic agent spawning to show how recursion evolves from loops to full agents. It examines delegation, spawning, verification, boundaries and stop conditions when humans no longer write every turn. Attendees gain a practical model for goal- and constraint-led systems where agents decompose and continue work safely.
